In today’s world, security has become a critical topic, and guaranteeing the protection of one’s land, farms, colonies, industries, and other assets has become everyone’s key worry. Solar fence is a contemporary and innovative technique of providing security, and it is one of the greatest solutions since it is both effective and efficient. Solar fence not only ensures the protection of one’s property, but it also operates using sustainable solar energy. When humans or animals come into touch with a solar fence, it acts similarly to an electric fence, which gives a brief but powerful jolt. The shock has a deterrence impact while also guaranteeing that no lives are lost.
How it works?
A solar fence system’s operation begins when a solar panel produces direct current (DC) from sunlight, which is then utilised to charge the system’s battery. The system’s battery may survive for up to 24 hours each day, depending on sunshine hours and capacity.
The controller, fencer, charger, or energizer receives the output of the charged battery. When the energizer is turned on, it creates a brief yet powerful voltage. The energizer’s principal function is to generate strong, short-duration pulses of roughly 8000 volts.
These pulses are sent through the fencing system’s wires at a rate of around one per 1-1.5 seconds, with each pulse lasting roughly 3 milliseconds, guaranteeing that no physical harm is caused to anyone who comes into touch with the solar fence.
